. . . you can run from it or learn from it? It’s your choice!
This is a common theme and idea but how often do you take a step back and revisit your past in this light? It is so important and very beneficial. A friend of mine shared a clip that I would like to share with you.
This is a concept that is wonderful on the surface but it definitely takes practice to continue reviewing and visiting how you can learn from it.
I am blessed to connect weekly with a financial mentor and he has given me an insight into looking at some of my past experiences in an entirely new light. These experiences are ones that I would never want to see another person go through. However, the concept behind the exercise is what value did I get from the experience? What did I learn from it? And, how can I share that with others?
We all have skeletons in our closets and we all know we all have skeletons. I would encourage you to open the door and pull out that skeleton and start talking! Your skeleton has lessons that you need to uncover. Your skeleton can offer amazing insights into who you are and the potential that is within. I’m not saying this process is easy, but I am saying that it is so rewarding!
Your past “mistakes” are not “mistakes” unless you leave them as such. Your past mistakes are lessons waiting to be uncovered. The value is waiting to be found!
It’s your choice. Will you continue running or will you stop and appreciate the lesson you can learn?
